ERC Computer Services, LLC is a software developer with over 30 years of experience in developing customized solutions for our clients. When our customer, US Cleaners, contracted with us to develop a touch screen POS for them, we knew that credit card processing was one critical component, because they were using a single card swipe machine with their old system, which had to be shared between two work stations using one telephone line. This was highly inefficient during peak processing times.

ERC developed the basic POS and included the basic hooks for connection to an Internet-based credit card processing solution, despite the concerns the owner had in replacing his old terminal when a lot of his transactions involved credit card payments. We then did a search to find a credit card processor who could guarantee that this individual’s concerns would be addressed while still considering our business’s reputation, since it we had to make the processor recommendation and live with the results.
